The World’s 50 Best Vineyards is an annual ranking based on the votes of more than 700 leading wine and travel expertsfrom around the world. The list celebrates wineries that offer the most inspiring and complete wine tourism experiences — evaluating not only the quality of the wines, but the entire visit: the tour, tasting, atmosphere, food, service, scenery, value for money, and accessibility.

There are no fixed judging criteria. Each voter simply nominates the winery that, in their view, delivers the most remarkable wine experience in the world — one that guests will always remember and wish to return to.

Located at the south-western gateway of the Tokaj Wine Region, Disznókő is one of Tokaj’s defining and pioneering wineries, cultivating an uninterrupted 150-hectare vineyard in one of Hungary’s most historic landscapes.

In 2020, Wine & Spirits Magazine included Disznókő among the Top 100 Wineries of the World, the only Hungarian estate to receive this distinction that year. In 2017, Disznókő was named Hungary’s Most Beautiful Wine Estate, and also received the Winery of the Year award from the Prestige Reserve Club’s professional and media jury.
